Mifune, Sanjuro

Name: Kuwabatake, Sanjuro
Age: 400's
Position: Third Division Captain
Bio: Mifune, Sanjuro in his past life was a ronin samurai who would help the poor and rid them of the crime lord in their town. Powerfu, honest and courageous... a hero. Sanjuro blindness began t plague him at the age of 12 where he lost the vision in his left eye. Three months later his right eye was gone... from then he; trained his other senses to perfection. His death came at the age of 37 so a virus picked up from a wound on his body. (From a hollow.)

Sanjuro was sent to Soul Society by a third division squad member at the time and from then on he resided in East Rulongai's 79th district. His strengths as a ronin in his past life followed him now in death. His strength continued to grow till he was admitted into the Soul Reapr academy. He spent a short time there as he graduated with an awesome grading. His position as the third seat came not too much after Aizen's leave from Soul Society (Along with Gin and Tousen.) He wasn/t one of the original candidates but was able to overcome the competition with ease.

Now, Sanjuro rest's at the top of his division leading it with a more honest and kind touch than the 'fox-like' Ichimaru, Gin. Sanjuro's abilities lie in his blindness, thanks to this he's been able to perfect his other senses.



Zanpakto:

Zanpukuto Name: Yojimbo
Zanpukuto Spirit:The spirit is pretty much an apparition of what seems to be a full armored samurai.
Zanpukto (sealed): The sealed version looks like a normal katana with an odd triangle like guard. The bladei tself is a gentle gray on the blunt side while the edge holds a bright shine.
Zanpukuto call:"Severe evil and protect the good, Yojimbo!"
Shikai:
Appearance: The Zanpakto looks pretty much the exact same as the sealed form except the blade is consumed by a black color on the blunt side instead of the gray.

Ability: In this state Sanjuro's ability to sense is increased tenfolds. His senses become super-human and almost perfect. Sanjuro's reiatsu also becomes blind in this state, in other words it is impossible to see or taste makingi t extremely hard to dodge any attacks he throws.

Powers:
Suto, Heijin Meisho (Strike, Blind Blade) This attack deals with the swing of his sword. Sanjuro's unique invisible reiatsu is charged to the tip of his blade and when swung, it is released from the tip and projectiles as a crescent shape towards the opponent. The slice looks almost like an extension of the wind or a condensed form of the wind. It has no color, no taste and no smell... it's an invisible reiatsu.

Kaiten, Heijin Meisho (Spin, Blind Blade) This is a defensive mechanism used when an opponent has gotten too close. In this state Sanjuro simply calls the name of the blade and around him spins the same invisible reiatsu condensed into thin lines that rotate at an extreme velocity. If one were to crash into this blade then you could think of the outcome as if falling or running into the spinning blades of a meat blender.
Bankai Apperance: The Bankai is released as he says Fueru Omegane, Yojimbo (Multiply your Judgement, Yojimbo) Sanjuro then raises his arm up as if he's pointing to 12 o'clock and spins it in a clockwise direction where his swords multiply into six other katanas. The sex katanas are then released from his hands and controlled by his mind.

Abilities: All of the Shikai's abilities just enhanced even further beyond all limits. The senses he can feel become so enhanced that he can hear and feel a pin dropping from a mile away. His senses are so good that when there is somethign to loud or harmful his body adapts to the wave of sound or intensity of smell etc.. so he could lower the level of input he receives from it to decrease any damages to his senses. In other words, he can hear a pin drop from a mile away but he can also survive a rock concert without going buts because of his bodies ability to adapt and change it's volume. Also, in Bankai Sanjuro can make all six swords dissapear by the command "Shimaru metohananosaki, Yojimbo." (Roughly; Close your eyes Yojimbo.)

Bankai Power:

Suto, Roku Heijin Meisho (Strike, Six Blind Blade) This is similar to the Shikai version except that he can release a larger amount of attacks and at a much faster rate.

Kaiten, Roku Heijin Meisho (Spin, Six Blind Blade) This is the same exact ability as the first except it acts at a much faster rate, it is more powerful and the rings of rotation can actually be released to envelop the target and close around them instead of just spinning and protecting Sanjuro.
